Introduction
♦ homogenizers are the homogenizing and emulsifying devices for liquid fixed material (liquid-liquid or liquid-solid).
♦ This equipment can be used widely in production, research and technical development of food, milk extract, drink, pharmacy, fine chemical, biotechnology and other fields.
♦ Many kinds of material such as milk or bean milk can be homogenized under high pressure to considerably thin the fat balls in the milk liquid, which makes the products be easy to be digested and absorbed, and improve the edibleness.
♦ This equipment can be used in the production of ice cream to improve the thinness and fraction void of liquid material.
♦ It also can be used in the production of emulsion, glue, fruit juice to avoid the or reduce the layering of the material liquid, improve the appearance of the material liquid, which can be more bright, fragrant and delicious.
♦ The material liquid will be dried into powder by spray drying devices after thinning by homogenizers, so that homogenizers are main devices in powder production.
WORKING THEORY:
The working method of SAMRO homogenizer as following, when product is flowing through the adjustable valve, the particles or droplets present in mixed fluids with high pressure will be subdivided into the very smallest sizes (diameter Φ=0.1~0.2 um, average Φ ≤1um) because of pressure decrease, expansion, explosion, cutting and high-speed impacting etc., then the emulsions or dispersions could be produced. This process refers to the following Fig.
Through homogenizing the stability, easy-absorb, long-life, taste and color etc. of product could be realized.
Types of homogenizer:
Two-stage homogenizing system with manual pressure adjustment is easy to use. It is your economic choice.
The hydraulic control system is developed to adjust the homogenizer pressure, and it is easy to upgrade to remote control system by changing to proportional valves.
The pneumatic control system is developed for the homogenizer, and it is easy to upgrade to remo.
Spare parts:
Checking valve: the conical valve is applicable for the most product material. The valve material can vary according to customer’s requirement for different working condition or CIP cleaning. The ball valve is applicable for product material of high viscosity.
Homogenizing valve: made of tungsten – Cobalt – Titanium alloy or erosion-resisting cemented carbide. It is applicable for 0-1000 bar homogenizing pressure and CIP cleaning.
Sealing: packing seal and V-section seal are available for different homogenized materials.
Plunger: Made of erosion-resisting stainless steel hardened smooth surface to achieve long life practice in dairy demonstrates that the life is 6000-10000 hours.
